My Desktop Linux ApplicationsThese are applications that I use on a daily basis. I'm running Linux Mandrake 9.0. and am using the KDE 3 window manager. I have installed the Liquid Window Theme and also Aqua Fusion Icon set. All painless and simple using the rpm files from texstar's site. The system I'm running on is an IBM IntelliStation E Pro. It is an older machine with a 450 mhz processor, but has 768 mb of ram installed. I have a cd burner and a zip drive attached along with a HP printer. I am using Linux Mandrake for web design and for personal use. It does everything I need it to and so much more ! I decided to post pics of the applications that I use everyday. Eventually I hope to have more of a description on each page.......but for now you can search google for whatever the application name is.......... you'll get a ton of results !
